Helen Hopkins passed away at her home in Tallulah, Louisiana, on August 24, 2022, at the age of 82. She was born October 24, 1939, in Delhi, Louisiana.

Mrs. Hopkins was a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church Tallulah where she served as librarian and taught Sunday school. Along with her husband, she volunteered with Louisiana Campers on Mission for many years. 

Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Warren A. Hopkins, Sr; her parents, Ellis and Catherine Dodson; and two sisters, Georgia Moore and Viola Pritchett. She is survived by a daughter, Jan Nolan of Vicksburg, Mississippi; son, Andy Hopkins of Thibideaux, Louisiana; and one sister, Cathy Holmes of Lake Bruin, Louisiana. She has three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  

As per her request, no memorial services are being held for Mrs. Hopkins. She wished only to be laid to rest next her husband in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallualh.

The family would like to thank Crossroads Hospice and the loving and caring sitters who cared for her.
