Hopkins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post August 31, 1950 MYLES S. HOPKINS OF TALLULAH DIES IN HOSPITAL HERE Post Office Employee Of Tallulah For Many Years . Myles S. Hopkins, 58, long-time resident of Tallulah, La., died at Mercy Hospital in Vicksburg this morning at 1:10. An employee of the Tallulah Postoffice for years, Mr. Hopkins was born at Frogmore Plantation in Tensas Parish. He had lived in Tallulah since 1920. Survivors are: his wife, Mrs. Lucille Pinney Hopkins; one daughter, Mrs. Ed Noble; one grandson, Howard Noble of New Orleans; two sisters, Mrs. Chant Pickens, Montgomery, Alabama; Mrs. Carrie Williamson, Shreveport; an aunt, Miss Jenny Bonney of Tallulah. Young's Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements which are incomplete.
