All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Juanita Massey Huckabay - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 11, 1995 Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Massey Huckabay, age 86 of Tallulah, were held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1995, in the Chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. Lillard Bevill officiating. Burial was followed at 2 p.m. in McGehee Cemetery, McGehee, Ark. Eastern Star Funeral Services were held in Tallulah in the chapel. Mrs. Huckabay died Sunday, Jan. 8, in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was born in Bonita, La., and was a resident of Tallulah for over 50 years. Mrs. Huckabay was a former City Clerk of Tallulah, and was an accountant and bookkeeper. She was a former Worthy Matron of Eastern Star, and past president and charter member of the Tallulah Home Gardener's Club, and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was active in civic affairs. Survivors include one sister, Mildred Goddard of Knoxville, Tenn.; one nephew, James E. Goddard Jr. of Maryville, Tenn.; and one great-niece, Noel Goddard of New York. Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge #308.
