Hurd - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 1, 1976 Funeral services for Aubrey H. Hurd, former owner of Hurd Insurance Co. Tallulah, were held Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stout officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Hurd died Friday at Vicksburg after a brief illness. He was a veteran of World War I, member of American Legion Post No. 100 of Tallulah, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 308 F&AM of Tallulah and a resident of Tallulah for the past 54 years. .0 Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruth Hurd of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Tamburino of River Edge, N.J.; two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Jones of Longview, Tex. and Mrs. H. B. Lawrence of Alexandria and two grandsons.
