All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ruth Hurd - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 18, 1985 Services for Mrs. Ruth Hurd, 79, were at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Ramone Warren officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Hurd died Wednesday in a Hackensack, N.J., hospital after a short illness. A Mississippi native, Mrs. Hurd lived in Tallulah for 63years and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Tamburino of River Edge, N.J.; two grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronald Everett, John Wilkins, W. W. Zeigler Sr., C. C. Adams, Charles Arneson and Tommy Leoty.
