Hutto - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 1974 John R. Hutto Funeral services for John R. Hutto, 89, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Clyde Coulter officiating. Burial was in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Wisner. Mr. Hutto died last Thursday morning at Madison Parish Hospital following a long illness. A native of Wayne County, Mr. Hutto had been a resident of Madison Parish for several years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Colon Hutto. Rayville, L. L. Hutto, Henry Hutto, John Hutto and Roy Hutto, all of Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Jettie Mason, Harrisonburg, Mrs. Fannie Mae Ates, West Monroe, Mrs. Lucille Farrington, Wisner, and Mrs. Ruby Lee Mulkey, Andrews, Tex.; 75 grand-children, 50 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were the grandsons.
