All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ William Fulton Ikerd - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 22, 1963 Services For William Ikerd Held Saturday Funeral services for William Fulton Ikerd, 58, who died last Friday in a Monroe hospital was held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Church of Christ. The Rev. Harold Poland and the Rev. Albert Fleetwood officiated. Interment followed in the Roxie Cemetery at Roxie, Miss., at 2 P. M. under the direction of Cupit-Young Funeral Home of Tallulah. He had been an employee of the Illinois Central Railroad for the past 29 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Mr. Ikerd is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna Ikerd ; two daughters, Mrs. Delbert Wood of West Monroe and Mrs. James C. Doris, Monroe; two. sons, James Ikerd of Selfridge Air Force Base, Michigan and Harold Wayne Ikerd, Monroe; three sisters, Mrs. Willie Belle Evans, Jacksonville, Texas; Mrs. Hattie Faust Shreveport and Mrs. Bell Harmon, Waterproof.
