All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ora Ivy - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 4, 1974 Mrs. Ora Ivy Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Ivy, 83, were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Crothers Funeral Home chapel here with Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mrs. Ivy died Friday night at the Delta Haven Nursing Home here following a long illness. A native of Carthage, Miss., Madison Parish she was a Madison Parish resident for 50 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Robert Ivy, San Angelo, Texas; Herman Ivy, Mound, and Ray Ivy, Louisville, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Wilma Brekeen, Mrs. Maggie Taylor and Mrs. Katie Toney, all of Tallulah, and Mrs. Genie Wilson, Ft. Worth, Texas. Pallbearers were Wesley Whitaker, James Whitaker, Ray Jobe, Richard Marshall, R. B. Reece and Ed Becham.
