Jackson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal August 10, 1972 Crash Kills Crop Duster Lloyd S. Jackson, 31, was killed last Thursday when a single engine duster he was piloting crashed as he was spraying a bean field 12 miles from here. According to Sheriff R. R. (Mitch) Mitchell, Jackson's plane nose-dived into the field while making a low-level pass and burst into flames. Jackson was dead at the scene. Services were held Friday for Jackson in Crothers Funeral home chapel with the Rev. C. C. Cornelius officiating. Burial was in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A native of Madison Parish, Jackson was a member of Parkview Baptist Church of Tallulah. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Earline Jackson of Tallulah, two brothers, Robert Jackson of Tallulah and Andrew Jackson of Jacksonville, N. C.; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Faye Frazier of Jonesboro.
