MARY EVELYN JACKSON Services for Mrs. Mary Evelyn Jackson will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Methodist Church in Jonesville, LA. with Bro. Marion Trisler, Jr. and Bro. Larry Whittington officiating. Interment will follow in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, LA. under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena, LA. Mrs. Jackson, 77, was born February 15, 1931 in Forsythe, GA. and passed from this life on Sunday, July 27, 2008 in the Columns Nursing Home in Jonesville, LA. She is survived by three daughters, Debra Diane Thompson of Jonesville, LA., Donna Cassaro of Prospect, KY., and Dorothy Danelle Jackson of Monroe, LA.; One sister, Christine Drane of Forest, LA.; Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coach O. D. Jackson, parents, Conie McCoy and Leila Rosa Medlin, Sr.; One sister Martha Howell and one brother, Conie McCoy Medlin, Jr. Pallbearers will be J. C. Thompson, Mike Cassaro, Jason Kramer, Jeff Barnhill, Opie White, and Craig Edwards.
