All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Euanita Sistrunk James - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post August 10, 2009 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Mrs. Euanita Sistrunk James, age 92, of Tallulah, will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at noon in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. John Kavanaugh officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon at the funeral home Tuesday. Burial will follow at the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. James died early Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, at her residence near Tallulah after a lengthy illness. She was born in Monticello, Miss., and had lived most of her life in Tallulah. She was a retired retail clothing salesperson and was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include one son, Walter T. “Tommy” James of Tallulah; one sister, Maggie Ruth Longest of Bakersfield, Calif.; four grandchildren, Debbie Sigh, Lowry James, Gary A. James Jr. and Katrina McDowell; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. James; a son, Gary A. James; six brothers, Wilmer, Edward, Creighton, Frank, Ray and Earl Sistrunk; and one sister, Hilda Lott. Pallbearers will be Justin Robertson, Richard Powell, Donny Mullins, Danny Collins, Steve Collins and Bill Sistrunk. In lieu of flowers, any memorials may be made to New Summit School, P.O.
