James - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 6, 1972 Walter James rites held here Monday Funeral services for Walter A. James, 61, of Tallulah were held Monday at 3 p. m. in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. T. Harrington officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. James, owner of a local garage, died Saturday in Jackson, Miss., following a brief illness. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eunida James of Tallulah: two sons, Gary James of Baton Rouge and Tommy James of Jacksonville. Fla., one brother, A. W. James of Whiteface. Tex.: four sisters; Mrs. C. D. Dupree and Mrs. Clifford Bryant, both of Bunnas, Ark., Mrs. Florence Faulk of Little Rock, Ark. and Mrs. Fordy Cook of Pioneer: and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dick Brown, Jim Brown, R. R. Mitchell, A. W. James, Joe Reynolds and Cline Elledge.
