All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Carrie Jefferson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 30, 1960 Services For Mrs. Carrie Jefferson Held On Monday Funeral Services for Mrs. Carrie Jefferson, 80, who died last Saturday morning following a long illness, was held Monday morning at 10 :00 A. M. at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dan Lott officiating. Interment followed in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Crothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. She was a native of New Madrid, Missouri, and had lived in Madison Parish for 42 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include one son, Tom Jefferson, Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. J. P. Ragsdale, Dumas, ArKansas, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Eugie Edmondson, George Townsend, Archie Fairbanks, J. L. Jones, Jack Lott and Carl Griffin.
