Jennings - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 31, 1980 Funeral services for Lonnie J. Jennings, who died in Minden were at 2:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist of Tallulah with the Rev. Ned Stout officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Jennings died Sunday night at Minden Medical Center after an illness. He was a native of Lexington, Ky., and had lived in Tallulah for many years before moving to Minden several months ago. He was a veteran of World War II, a retired cattleman and a member of both cattlemen's associations in Louisiana and Mississippi. He was also a member of the farm bureau and the Methodist church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachell Jennings; two sons, James Terry Jennings of Minden, and Jimmy Wayne Jennings of Monroe; a brother, Foy Jennings of Gracemont, Okla., and a granddaughter. Pallbearers were George Lensing, Dick Brown, Bob Gaumnitz, Clay Crawford, Harrison Wise and Bob Ross.
