All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Berniece Jobe - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, November 6, 2010 RUSTON, La. — Berniece Jobe died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at Northern Louisiana Medical Center. She was 80. Mrs. Jobe was born in Vicksburg and had lived in Madison Parish, La., most of her life. She was a homemaker and lifetime member of the First Seventh Day Adventist Church of Vicksburg. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Edward Jobe; four sons, Bernnie Jobe, John Edward Jobe and David Jobe, all of Tallulah, and Jerry Jobe of Vicksburg; three daughters, Annette Jobe Jones and Julia Jobe Holland, both of Tallulah, and Patricia Jobe Mitchell of Higdon, Ala.; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home’s chapel. The Revs. Billy Mitchell and Christopher Jones will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunflower Cemetery in Delhi. Visitation will be from noon until the service at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
