All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Freeland Eugene Johnson Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 24, 1996 Funeral services for Mr. Freeland Eugene Johnson Jr., age 58, were held Monday Feb. 5, 1996, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop. Mt Johnson died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 1996, in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. He was born in Bastrop and had lived in Tallulah for 35 years. He was a construction worker and had been a Corporal in the Marine Corps. Survivors include two sons, Kevin Eugene Johnson of Big Sandy, Texas, and William Timothy Johnson of Hawkins, Texas; one daughter, Rhonda Sykes of Tallulah; one brother, Archie Wade Johnson of Bastrop; one sister Thelma Bryan of North Little Rock, Ark.; Dottie Lowry, a long-time friend; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Emmett Ellis, Gene Laing, Robert Perrault, Joseph Perrault, Michael Bryan, Charles Smith.
