Johnson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 24, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. John C. Johnson, age 74, of Bossier City, La., were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, in the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery in Crowville, La. Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, Dec. 17, 1997, in the Lagniappe Hospital in Shreveport after a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Tallulah and was a retired salesman. Survivors include four sons, Johnny Ray Johnson and Julius Wesley Johnson, both of Tallulah, Tommy Mitchell Johnson of Bossier City and Roy Ladale Johnson of Zowelle; two daughters. Cynthia Elizabeth Hosea and Angela Renee Thompson, both of Tallulah; two brothers, Dennis Johnson and Charley Johnson, both of Crowville; two sisters, Jeanette Simmons of Crowville and Katherine Sullivan of Start; 16 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Pallbearers were Johnny Ray Johnson, Tommy Mitchell Johnson, Roy Ladale Johnson, Julius Wesley Johnson, Billy Wayne Johnson and Kevin Johnson.
