Johnson is buried here William David Johnson, 83, died at Mercy Hospital at noon Tuesday after a lengthy illness. He was born in Montpellarr, Miss. and moved to Vicksburg as a young man where he was engaged in the livestock business and was an automobile salesman for a number of years. For the past 22 years he has been a resident of Tallulah. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace M. Johnson, and one brother, Virgil H. Johnson of Los Angeles. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 3 p. m. at Crothers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James L. Adams officiating Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were C. D. Luckett, Archie Logue, W. A. Logue, M. C. Stone, Claude Grimes and C. D. Watson.
