Johnson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star May 11, 1973 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Woodrow Q. Johnson, 59, of Tallulah, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery near Tallulah. He died Thursday at his home near Waverly of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Johnson was a farmer and a native of Summit, Miss., and a resident of Madison Parish for 35 years. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Johnson of Waverly; two sons, Charles Johnson of Waverly and John Johnson of Pontiac, Mich.; two daugh[t]ers, Mrs. Nettie Dacus of Pontiac, Mich., and Miss Johnson of Waverly; one brother, Elzie Johnson of Urania; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Stevens of Tallulah and Mrs. Florence Davis of Lake Providence; and Mrs. Leonard Carter of Fairfax, Okla.; two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Hutto, Roy Lee Little, Earl Thompson, Arnold Bowlin, Howard Bowlin and Nolan Taylor.
