All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Henry Vernon Jones - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 14, 1971 Rites held for residents' father Henry Vernon Jones, 42, of New Orleans, died Friday afternoon in a New Orleans hospital after a long illness. He was a native of Winnsboro and lived in New Orleans for the last 20 years. Funeral services were at 3 p. m. Monday in the chapel at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Louis Gatlin officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Albert Walker, and Mrs. Mary Morrison, both of Tallulah; Mrs. Arthur K. Hardy of Delta, Pa., and Mrs. Jesse Robinson of Waterproof; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Larry Wells, Milner Wells, Charles L. Smith, Floyd D. Williams, Albert Fondren, and Virgil L. Thornton Jr.
