All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Shannon Jones - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 30, 1992 Funeral services for Mr. Shannon Jones, 56, of Vicksburg, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Green Acres Memorial Park. Mr. Jones died Sunday at Vicksburg Medical Center. He was born in Beulah, Miss. and was reared in Tallulah. He had lived in Vicksburg for the past 35 years. He was owner and operator of Jones Welding Co. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Shirley B. Jones of Vicksburg; five daughters, Reba Dale Moody, Rena Maxine Wooten and Patti Lee Richardson, all of Vicksburg, Vicki Jane Rasch of Tallulah and Shirley Ann Simms of North Augusta, S.C.; five sons, Barry Wayne Jones, Terry Allen Jones, Daryl Shane Jones, Michael Raymond Wooten and Daniel Keith Wooten, all of Vicksburg; his mother, Lucille Jones of Vicksburg; four sisters, Louise Sanders of Indianola, Miss., Bonnie Fortner of Anguilla, Miss. and Daisy Miller and Shirley Holman, both of Vicksburg; four brothers, Curtis Jones of Marion, Ind., Jessie Jones of Phoenix, Ariz. and George Lee Jones and David Allen Jones, both of Vicksburg; and 15 grand-children. Pallbearers were Henry Higgins, Al Sellers, Allen Jones, Harold Brown, Clifton Lee, Jimmy Jones, Jerry Elliott and Buddy Former. Honorary pallbearers were Paul Barrett, James Barrett, Curtis Edward Jones Jr., Dewey Sellers, Billy Higgins and Wesley Millet.
