M. Jones Funeral services for Warren Milton Jones, 86 retired Baptist minister who died last Friday afternoon in a Delhi nursing home after a long illness was held Saturday at 3 p. m. Services were conducted in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. H. Hamilton and Oster Daniels officiating. Burial was conducted in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Jones, a native of Marksville, had lived in Tallulah since 1940. He was in the upholstery business. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include three sons, Edward Jones, Baltimore. Md., Stuart Jones, St. Louis, Mo. and Paul Jones, Albany, Calif.; one daughter in Germany; one brother, L. E. Jones, Pollock; and several grandchildren Pallbearers were C. N. Colvin, James Parker, Robert E. Brown, Jim Sevier, Hook Prewitt and Garland Roberson.
