Jordan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 15, 1975 Funeral services for George W. Jordan of Baton Rouge were held at the Welsh Funeral Home Baton Rouge with the Rev. ---- Thompson Jr. officiating. Burial was in Greenoaks Memorial Cemetery in Baton Rouge. Mr. Jordan, a native of Tallulah and a resident of Baton Rouge, died May 6 at Memorial Hospital. He was an employee of the Louisiana Department of Highways and a member of the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Virginia Honeycutt Jordan; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edwina G. Jordan, Baton Rouge; a brother, Francis Graves Jordan; a granddaughter, Carol Louise Jordan; two grandsons, George Wayne and Jack Benjamin Jordan; and several nephews.
