Jordan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 13, 1985 Mrs. Myrtle A. Jordan, 64, died Saturday at E.A. Conway Memorial Hospital in Monroe after a short illness. Services were at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Gage Hynum officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Jordan was a native of Natchitoches and a resident of Madison Parish the past seven years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jeff Jordan of Sondheimer; a son, James Dortlon of Marthaville; two brothers, Charles Almond and Benny Almond, both of Tallulah; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Alexander of Mount Holly, Ark., Mrs. Bernice Prine of Transylvania and Mrs. Mary Ezell of Tallulah; and three grandsons. Pallbearers were Joe Hickman, Larry Goodwin, James Bedgood, Thomas Bedgood, Haskel Gatlin and Armon Cox.
