All rights reserved. ************************************************ Sybil Burns Josey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, November 9, 2004 TALLULAH — Sybil Burns Josey died today, Nov. 9, 2004, at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. She was 84. Mrs. Josey was born in Shreveport and had lived in Tallulah since 1952. A retired bookkeeper, she was a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist Church in Minden, La. She is survived by a son, Maurice “Bo” Josey of Tallulah; one sister, Faye McCoy of Phoenix City, Ala.; a grandson, Michael Josey of Monroe; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
