Keene - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, September 9, 1987 TALLULAH, La. - Services for Mr. Willie L. Keene will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery near Baskin, La., with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Keene died Monday Sept. 7, 1987, at Madison Parish Hospital In Tallulah after a long illness. He was 66. Mr. Keene was born in Pokeville, Miss., and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past seven years. Survivors Include his wife, Mrs. Omega Keene of Tallulah; three sons, Tommy Keene and Michael Keene, both of Vicksburg; and Elvis Keene of Clanton, Ala.; four daughters, Brenda Joyce Meadows and Nancy Carol Foster, both of Vicksburg; Gloria A. Ragsdale of Winterpark, Fla.; and Suzanne Harkins of Ashville, N.C.; two brothers, Leo Russell Keene of Sulphur, La.; and Lefay Newton Keene of Corsicana, Texas; one sister, Janie Walker of Sulphur; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Eugene Meadows, John R. Richards and Jimmy Shivers. From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 9, 1987 Graveside services for Mr. Willie L.
