Mrs. Susan Carole Nolan Keyes, 73, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana. She was born July 24, 1952, in Delhi, Louisiana, to Lloyd and Ramona Wilson Nolan. She was a life-long resident of Tallulah, Louisiana.

Susan was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and worked as a bookkeeper.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Nolan and Ramona Wilson Nolan Scott; maternal grandparents, Homer and Effie Cagle Wilson; paternal grandparents, Andrew Nolan and Carrie Nolan Smith; and siblings, John Andrew Nolan, Ramona Nolan Hodnett, and Ramon Nolan. 

Susan is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edgar Ray Keyes, Sr.; three children, Lori Keyes, Kami Keyes Maxwell (Steve), and Edgar "Eddie" Ray Keyes, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Tyler Fore, Nolan Fore, Brooklyn Fore, Brianna Fore, Cameron Hall (Mark), Jimmy Sills (Irvin), and Mikey Henson; two great grandchildren, Caroline Raye Hall and Finch Hall; and sister, Sandi Nolan Watkins (Robbie), along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Funeral services for Susan will be held Monday, April 20, 2026, at Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with Bro. Craig West officiating. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM with the funeral service starting at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Keyes, Adam Hodnett, Neil Watkins, Tyler Fore, Mark Hall, Jimmy Sills, Mikey Henson, and Nolan Fore.
