All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Janie Buck King - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 19, 1960 Death Takes Mrs. Janie King Mrs. Janie Buck King died Tuesday afternoon, August 16 in the Madison Parish Hospital. Mrs. King had been ill for some time. She is the mother of Mrs. Arnold Shields, and is survived by her husband, Claude L. King; another daughter, Mrs. John Schneider of Alhambra, Calif.; three sons, Claude, Pete and W. H. King, all of Tallulah. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 4 p. m. from Crothers Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. W. F. Mayo of Tallulah Methodist Church officiating. Interment followed in Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Lloyd Gilbert, George Spinks, W. Z. Adams, C. B. DeMoss, Dick Brown, and W. T. Bell of Lake Providence.
