Monday, March 9, in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, La. A memorial service was conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, in the First United Methodist Church of Lecompte. Mrs. King died Friday, March 6, 1998, in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital. She was born in Tallulah. Mrs. King was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lecompte, a member of the DAR and a member of the Lecompte Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, E. Forrest King of Lecompte; three daughters: Susanne K. Jones of Lecompte, Julia K. King of Dallas, Texas, and Mittie K. Bond of St. Louis, Mo.; a son, E. Forrest King Jr. of Shreveport; and 10 grandchildren. John Kramer and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
