All rights reserved. ************************************************ Dora Mae Koehler - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Baytown (TX) Sun June 11, 2006 Dora Mae Koehler of Baytown, passed away Saturday morning, June 10, 2006 in a local hospital. She was born August 14, 1938 in Tallulah, Louisiana, to Charles & Laverne Elizabeth (Parker) Whittaker. She was a bookkeeper for A-1 Furniture Store and a member of the Dominion of Faith Christian Center. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James Koehler of Baytown, sons, Kenneth C. Evans of Baytown, A. Scott Koehler of Houston, daughters, Phyllis Drake and husband Ronnie of Mont Belvieu, Carla M. Cooley of Kenifick, brothers, Wesley Whittaker and wife Wilma, James Whittaker, Melvin Whittaker, and Carlton Whittaker and wife Jenny, sisters, Paula Ainsworth and husband Buddy, Attie Kay Day and husband Sonny, Connie Clay and husband Virgil, grandchildren, Ronnie, Dustin, & Robert Drake, Samantha & Dakota Evans, Kevin & James Koehler, great grandchildren, Baidyn Drake and Christopher Phillips. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, June 12, 2006, 10:00 am at the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home with Pastor K. E. McCloud officiating. Burial will follow the service.
