Koeppen Dies Saturday; Rites Held Tuesday Funeral services for Charles Edward Koeppen, 52, who died Saturday at a Vicksburg hospital after a brief illness were held Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. in the Young's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. Arthur Strickland, pastor of the Tallulah First Presbyterian Church, officiating. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Grave side services were held at the Vaiden, Miss. cemetery with the Rev. Joe M. Cooper, pastor of the Vaiden Baptist Church, officiating. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Cearley Koeppen; one son, E. Tyler Koeppen, Los Angeles, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. T. B. Janow, Paducah, Ky., and Mrs. Larry V. Whitehouse, Waco, Texas; one brother, Meredith F. Koeppen, Jackson, Miss., and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were L. W. Stinson, Frank Pruitt, B. W. Holmes, Frank Wiley, Henry Canon and Clayton Randall. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Phillips, Buck Weaver, Adrian Willett, C. G. Hirschenhofer (and others.)
