J. Kuhn, 67-year-old Monroe resident, died in a Monroe hospital Saturday after a brief illness. Mrs. [sic Mr.] Kuhn was a native of Lasalle Parish. He had been manager of Stubbs Plantation here for the past 12 years, was a Mason, and was past president of the Louisiana Pecan Growers Association. Funeral arrangements were incomplete Saturday but will be held in Tallulah with interment in a Tallulah cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cora Renfrow Kuhn; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Kennedy, Shreveport, and Mrs. Edith Whitehead, New Orleans; his mother, Mrs. J. C. Kuhn, Jena; and five sisters, Mrs. C. R. Haase, Mrs. J. C. Smith and Mrs. J. T. Blackman, all of Jena; Mrs. W. F. Kirsch, New Orleans, and Mrs. J. H. Renfrow, Tallulah; two brothers, A. L. Kuhn, Jena, and C. H. Kuhn, Jena, and three grandchildren.
