All rights reserved. **************************************************************************************************** BILLY GEORGE LAGRONE - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Houston Chronicle, September 20, 2009 BILLY GEORGE LAGRONE, age 62, of Tallulah, LA went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 13 2009. Billy was born in Shreveport, LA and lived 33 years in Pasadena - LaPorte, TX area. Billy had just recently moved to Tallulah, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. D. "Tex" LaGrone and Mildred Bosley LaGrone, grandmother Pearlie Bosley and nephew Jeffrey Rowell. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharron Sandidge LaGrone of Tallulah, LA, two sons Jeffrey Lane Sandidge of Tallulah and Dennis King of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren Jeremy Sandidge of Tallulah, Stephanie Sandidge of Tallulah, Matthew, Justin and Cameron Sandidge of Friendswood, TX, Tyler and Gracie Williams of Tallulah; one sister Judy Rowell of Bossier City, LA; three nieces Lori Hamm of Cloutierville, LA, Brookley Hicks of Natchitoches, LA and Jennifer Schuler of Shreveport, LA. Billy joined the Air Force in 1966 and served in England for four years. He was discharged from the military as a Sgt. Class E4. He also served on the Red River Police Jury for 5 years from 1970 to 1975. He was employed by Dynasty Transportation of Broussard, LA for 23 years as a dispatcher and salesman. He owned numerous 18 wheelers of his own as well. He will be dearly missed by his family and him many friends in the Houston area.The family would like to thank all the medical staff in Pasadena, TX, Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX and St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, LA as well as the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah, LA and the Family Life Home Health of Rayville, LA, Patient's Choice of Tallulah, LA and special thanks to Dr. T. A. Neumann and Dr. L. P. Neumann of Tallulah, LA.
