Lancaster, 82, of Campbell, Mo., died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Piggott Community Hospital, Piggott, Ark. Born July 27, 1919, in Rayville, La., son of the late Eula Emmett Lancaster Sr., and Minnie Mae Alford Lancaster, he was retired and a member of the General Baptist Church in Campbell. On Sept. 8, 1943, in Tallulah, La., he married Claudine Gerald who survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons, Larry Lancaster and his wife, Kay, of Palm Harbor, Fla. and Gary Lancaster of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Chandra Lancaster of Houston; a sister Dorothy Tullos and husband, Lacey of Cotton Valley, La., daughter-in-law, Linda A. Foster and husband, Kirby, of Campbell; eight grandchildren Lynn Lancaster of Plano, Texas, Anna Katherine Johnson of Kennett, Mo., Christopher Evan Lancaster of Pittsburg, Pa., LeAnn Cobb and Barbara Foster of Little Rock, Ark., Lisa Hyde of Clever, Mo., Angela Staggs of Benton, Ark., and Ryan Peterson of Campbell; three great-grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Lancaster of Plano, Texas, Hannah Johnson of Kennett and Tyler Staggs of Benton. He was preceded in death by four sisters, and five brothers, including his twin. Funeral services are 4 p.m. today, Sunday, May 26, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Pastor Earl D. Bell officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell.
