All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Annie Lee Lane - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post June 2, 1951 LANE SERVICES SET AT TALLULAH THIS AFTERNOON Native Of Madison Dies In Lake Charles Yesterday TALLULAH, La., June 2-Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the First Methodist Church here for Mrs. Annie Lee Lane, native of Madison parish, who died in Lake Charles Friday after a short illness. She was 85. The Rev. W. H. Giles, district Superintendent of the Methodist Church will officiate and interment will be in Silver Cross Cemetery. The Rev. John Kilpatrick will assist in the services. Pallbearers will be Will Adams, Earl Reed, Cliff Adams, Milton Williams, Warren Williams, Edward Williams, John Calhoun, and Gus Willett, Jr. Member of a pioneer Madison parish family, Mrs. Lane is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Earle Reed, Mrs. Webb Williams of Tallulah; Mrs. Plauche of Lake Charles; one son, L. T. Lane of Texarkana; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
