Lanehart - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal September 6, 1935 LOCAL CONTRACTOR, G. E. LANEHART, DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS G. E. Lanehart, contractor, died August 28 in New Orleans hospital, after an extended illness. His widow, Mrs. G. E. Lanehart, was with him at the time of his death. Funeral services were held Thursday, August 29 in Rosetta, Miss., with interment in the family cemetery there. Born in Wilkerson County, Miss., Mr. Lanehart lived there until moving to Madison parish in 1924, having since been engaged in building in this parish. He was 57 years old at the time of his death. Mr. Lanehart is survived by his widow, and one daughter, Miss Agatha Lanehart and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Carter of Rosetta, Miss.
