Lane - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 17, 1965 Former Resident Dies In Texas Sept. 13 Mr. Lee T. Lane, 70, a former Tallulah resident, was buried in Texarkana, Texas last Wednesday following a fatal heart attack suffered on Monday. Mr. Lane was married to the former Berta Prater, who is also a former Tallulah resident. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, Dr. Richard Lane of Wells Point, Texas and C/M Sgt. Andrew Tyson Lane of Omaha, Nebraska, and three sisters, Mrs. Erle Read and Mrs. Webb Williams both of Tallulah and Mrs. S. W. Plauche of Lake Charles, La. and several grandchildren. A native of Tallulah, Mr. Lane resided here until about thirty-five years ago. He was a retired railroad employee and was an active member of the Methodist Church.
