Lawrence - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 21, 1977 George W. Lawrence, 56, 11 James St., Sidney, New York, was found slain July 7 in Binghamton, N. Y., by police. Mr. Lawrence was employed by the Xxxxx Aeronautics Corp., was a former resident of Tallulah, and he graduated from Tallulah High School in 1938. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were held July 9 at H. Landers Funeral Home in Sidney and burial followed in a Sidney cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Miss Mary Ann Lawrence, of Painted Port, N. Y.; one son, Walter Lawrence of Riverhead, N. Y., a sister, Mrs. Marion Walker of Tallulah, a brother, John B. Lawrence of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and one grandson, Jonathan Lawrence of Riverhead, N. Y.
