"Buddy" Lee - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 25, 1990 Funeral services for Mr. James C. "Buddy" Lee, 76, were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Lee died Monday at Richland Parish Hospital in Rayville after a long illness. He was a native of Tennessee and a resident of Tallulah for the past 59 years. He was a former supervisor for Holsum Bread Company, a member of the Home Guard during World War II and a member of the Tallulah First United Methodist Church. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ellis Lee and son James C. Lee Jr. Survivors include three sons, J. David Lee of Mobile, Ala., Dr. Chapman Lee of Baton Rouge and Edwin Lee of Houston, Tex.; one brother, R. Douglas Lee of Baton Rouge; one sister; Mildred Lee Price of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bill Yerger; Pete Roper; Bill Adams, Tommy Bishop, Richard Powell and Butch Wroten.
