All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Ivie Naylor Lewis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Decatur (GA) Daily October 9, 2007 Tallulah, LA Graveside services were held for Mrs. Ivie Naylor Lewis, 99, on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, La., with the Rev. Kenneth Tew officiating and Carothers-Glenwood directing. The family received visitors at her residence, 302 Garfield Street, Tallulah, at 11 a.m. Saturday. Mrs. Lewis, who died Monday, Oct. 2, 2007, at her residence following a lengthy illness, was born July 11, 1908, to Mr. and Mrs. Marion VanBuren Bostick of Holly Ridge, La. She was a graduate of Rayville High School and St. Francis School of Nursing, Monroe, La. She served Madison Parish as a public health nurse for many years. Her husbands, Lionel Z Naylor Sr., and Colonel James Coates Lewis, and her grandson, Matthew Pettis Naylor, preceded her in death. She is survived by her only child, Dr. Lionel Z Naylor Jr. and her daughter-in-law, Chandra Pettis Naylor, of Decatur; grandsons, Lionel Z Naylor III and wife, Blair, of Santa Fe, N.M., and Luke Lewis Naylor of Decatur; granddaughters, Cathy Story and husband, Ed, and Renee Rush, both of Decatur, Jeanne Haugen and husband, George, of Cochabamba, Bolivia, and Nicole Klooster and husband, Craig, of Brentwood, Tenn.; great-grandchildren, Chase, Chris and Caleb Story, Madison Rush, Victoria, Charis Michaela and Will Haugen, Kate and Thomas Naylor, and Clayton, Wyatt and Olivia Ann Klooster; and sister, Estelle Mondey of Grove, Texas. Pallbearers were Luke Naylor, Ed, Chase, Chris and Caleb Story, and Gill Rush.
