All rights reserved. ************************************************ James Hugh "Ray" Lewis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 23, 2001 TALLULAH - James Hugh "Ray" Lewis died Wednesday, March 21, 2001, at his home in Marshall, Texas. He was 58. Born in Epps, La., Mr. Lewis lived in Tallulah for a number of years and had been a resident of Marshall for eight years. He worked as a heavy-equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Charlie Lewis, and a sister, Mildred Gentry. Survivors include four brothers, Grady Lewis, Phillip Lewis and Vernon Lewis, all of Marshall, and Kenneth Lewis of Tallulah; four sisters, Frances Rinicker of Tallulah, Charlene Brousard of Sugarland, Texas, Sybil Ashley of Houston, Texas, and Becky Pritchett of Hunter Heights; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home
