All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Stephen Ralph Loe - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 30, 1997 Funeral services for Mr. Stephen Ralph Loe, age 85, of Tallulah, were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Loe died Monday night, April 28, in the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a lengthy illness. He was born in Friendship, La. and had lived in Tallulah for 62 years. Mr. Loe was the retired owner of Loe Equipment Company in Tallulah and had owned this business for 42 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah and served as chairman of the Board of Trustees. He was Senior Vice President of Southern National Bank of Tallulah and was past president of Deep South Farm Equipment Association. He was a member of the Tallulah Rotary Club. Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Gandy Loe of Tallulah; two daughters, Lillian Loe Stoddard of Los Angeles, Calif., and Barbara Loe Arrington of Tallulah; one sister, Lucille Loe McCasland of Baton Rouge; one grandchild, Deirdre Arrington McGehee of Newellton; and one great-grandchild, Donald McGehee III of Newellton. Pallbearers were Don McGehee, Morgan Stoddard, Riley Harper, Joe Cupit, John Ulmer, Paul Marsh, Shelby Holmes and Bob Laird. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Arneson, Harvey Mounger, Nolan Smith, J. G. Wyly, Jerry Arrington, Edgar Lancaster and Dr. L. P Neumann, Jr.
