All rights reserved. ************************************************ Sherrill Lucretia Lombardi - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Berkshire, MA Eagle, 2/15/2006 PITTSFIELD -- Sherrill Lucretia Lombardi, 66, of 15 Marian Ave. and 9292 Belvedere St., Spring Hill, Fla., where she and her husband wintered for the past three years, died Saturday at Hernando Pasco Hospice in Brooksville, Fla. Born in Tallulah, La., on Nov. 12, 1939, she was a daughter of Oscar Woodrow Allen and Mavis A. Ross Allen. She graduated in 1957 from Tallulah High School. Mrs. Lombardi was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, reading, genealogy, music and animals, as well as playing cards and dominos. She leaves her husband, Louis P. Lombardi, whom she married Sept. 14, 1974, in First United Methodist Church; a son, James W. Graves Jr. of Monterey, La.; two daughters, Cindy A. Tenneson of Pittsfield and C. Denise Kelly of Edgewater, Fla.; a sister, Sarah Murray of Pittsfield; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE -- Funeral services for Sherrill L. Lombardi, who died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, in Florida, will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. at DERY FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Suzanne M. Zacher, pastor of Morningside Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Lombardi may be made to the Hernando Pasco Hospice in care of the funeral home, 54 Bradford St., Pittsfield. Mrs. Lombardi leaves her six grandchildren, Shaun M. Kelly Jr., Richard J. Kelly, Matthew J. Tenneson, Danielle D. Tenneson, Jeremy P. Tenneson and Trey Smith; six great-grandchildren, Trisha, Bailey, Jake, Drew, Noah and Parker; sons-in-law, Shaun M. Kelly Sr., and Joseph P. Rodgers; daughter-in-law, Sarah Graves; four nieces, Margaret Baumann, Cheryl Murray, Danita Ann Ross and Suzanne Cochran; two nephews, Rick Murray and Joe Murray, and brother-in-law, Keith Murray, as well a her beloved pets, Boots and Deli. She was predeceased by a brother, James O. Ross.
