All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Annette Lombardo - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal March 31, 1993 Funeral services for Miss Annette Lombardo, 82, were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Edward Catholic Church with Rev. Silvin Waterkotte officiating. Burial was at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton under direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. A rosary was said Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at Crothers-Glenwood Chapel. Miss Lombardo died Thursday at Madison Parish Hospital. She was born in New Orleans and lived most of her life in Newellton, where she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Joseph Altar Society. She was an employee of Kullman Brothers Store for 20 years. She later moved to Tallulah where she was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and St. Edward Altar Society. She was a past vice president of the Madison Parish Garden Club and past vice president of the Walnut Bayou Homemakers Club. She was also a Red Cross volunteer and participated in other civic projects. She was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine Lombardo of Newellton; a brother, Dr. Salvo J. Lombardo of Tallulah; parents, Andrew and Angela Lombardo of Newellton. Survivors include a sister, Marietta Scurria; two nieces and seven nephews. Honorary pallbearers were Prentice Norred, Dr. Jacob Storey, Dr. L. P. Neumann Jr., Dr. Eberling, Dr. Kenny Sehon, Dr. Johnny Craig, the staffs of Rayville's Richardson Medical Center, Madison Parish Hospital, Hancock Home Health Care and Dorsey Medical Transportation.
