All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lillie May Long - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 13, 1956 Funeral Services To Be Today For Miss Lillie Long Funeral services for Miss Lillie May Long, prominent resident of Madison Parish, who died in Vicksburg Tuesday night after a long illness will be held (Friday) today at 10 a. m. Miss Long was born and reared at Delta and her family was prominent in the affairs of northeast Louisiana. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. Services will be conducted at the Fisher Funeral Chapel in Vicksburg with the Rev. Warwick Aiken, rector of Christ Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. She leaves a niece, Mrs. Raymond Case of Smithtown, N. Y.; a nephew, R. Burney Long, Jr., of Miami, Fla.; one great-niece, and one great-nephew. Pallbearers include Watson McDonald, E. B. Towne, Claude Brady, Oscar Beaupre, T. E. Tillman and Bill Greeson. Honorary pallbearers will be W. P. Sevier, Jr., Frank Thomas, Rufus Yerger, Adam Werling, Paul Oakes, Keith Williams and Seale Keefe.
