All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Nettie Jean Lopez - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 30, 1999 Funeral services for Mrs. Nettie Jean Lopez, 46, of Tallulah, were held Monday, June 28, 1999 at the chapel of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. David Barbar officiating. Burial followed in the McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge. La., under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Lopez died Friday, June 25, in the Olive Branch Skilled Nursing Center in Tallulah following a lengthy illness. She was born in Rayville and had been a resident of Tallulah most of her life. She was retired as the activities director of the Olive Branch and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by: her mother: Dolly Dimple Payne, Epps, La.; one son: Domingo Lopez, Tallulah: one daughter: Sonya Trichell, Tallulah: four sisters: Carolyn Elaine Herman and Shelby Jean Brock, Epps, Jane Tarver, Rayville, and June Payne, Chattanooga. Tenn.; five brothers: Jack Gilbert Payne, Jr., and Rusty Payne, Epps; Claude Payne, and Calvin Payne, Rayville, and James Robert Payne, Baton Rouge; and one grandchild: Austin Dwight Trichell, Tallulah. Pallbearers were Lupe Hernandez, Ed Trichell, Jack Payne, Jr., Claude Payne, David Cobb and Jeff Cade.
