Lott - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star January 17, 1947 TALLULAH, La., Jan. 17. — (Special) — Funeral services for J. I. Lott, 67, who died at his home here Sunday after a week's pneumonia, were held from Williams' funeral chapel here Monday, the Rev. L. A. Materne officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross cemetery. Mr. Lott had been a resident of Madison parish since 1912. He was a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. S. M. Bullock of Columbia, Miss., Mrs. W. A. Clark, Jena, La., Mrs. T. E. King, Winnsboro; six sons, J. E., Otho, C. S., Albert, Ollie and Reese, of Columbia, Miss., Oak Grove, Tallulah, Jena, Delhi and Winnsboro respectively. Two brother[s], M. L. Lott, of Columbia, Miss., and J. R. Lott, of Winnsboro, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Slade of Lumberton, Miss., also survive.
