All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lona Lott - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 23, 1970 Mrs. Lona Lott dies at 90 in Monroe Mrs. Lona Lott, 90, died in a Monroe hospital Saturday night after a long illness. The funeral was at 3 p.m. Monday from the Crothers Funeral Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. She was a native of Baton Rouge and had resided in Madison Parish for the past 40 years. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophesy. She is survived by her husband Otho Lott; five sons, John Brekeen, Philadelphia, Miss., Queller Brekeen of New Orleans, Willie and Charlie Brekeen of Tallulah, Bilbo Brekeen of Crossett, Ark.; three daughters, Mrs. Minnie Wilkins and Mrs. Myrtis Page both of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Sarah Snyder of Columbus, Ga.; 23 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 30 great great grand-children. The grandsons were pallbearers.
