Lowery - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 9, 1980 Services for Beecher K. Lowery, were Friday in Tallulah First Pentecostal Church with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial was in Delhi Masonic Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Lowery died Friday in his home after a short illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Madison Parish, a World War II veteran, and member of Scott-Nichols-Voak Post 100 Aerican Legion. He was a with the Louisiana State Xxxxx department, and a member of the Tallulah First United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Dean Lowery of Tallulah; a son, John H. Lowery of Tallulah; four daughters, Donna Dunn of Winnsboro, Nora Fondren of Philadelphia, Miss., Bobbie Gremillion of Pineville and Marie Rogan of Tallulah; two sisters, Gladys Stillwell of Dubberly and Essie Somers of Rayville; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Henry Hutto, Rozell Sanders, Eugene Whitney, Robert Mathews, John Mathews and Dan Purvis. The family requests memorials be made to Tallulah First United Pentecostal Church.
