Malone - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 1, 1984 Funeral services for William M. Malone were held Saturday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Rev. Edward R. Thomas officiating. Graveside services followed at 4 p.m. in Arlington Cemetery in Homer. Malone died Friday morning, Oct. 19 in his residence in Natchitoches after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Tallulah and former owner of M&M Jewelry. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Malone was a member of the Masonic Phoenix Lodge No. 38, Natchitoches Chapter No. 13 Order of the Eastern Star and Tallulah Chapter No. 67 Royal Arch Masons. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virginia Watson Malone of Natchitoches; two sons, Dr. William Michael Malone of New Iberia and Gary Murrell Malone of Tallulah: two daughters, Mrs. Mona Murray of Natchitoches and Mrs. Linda Glover of Dallas; three sisters, Miss Lucille Malone of Shreveport, Mrs. Mary Lee Kimbell of Homer and Mrs. Lillian Robinson of Baton Rouge; and 11 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Guy Prothro, J. T. Adams, John Smith, Nolan Smith, Stanley Harmon. R. E. Fowler, James Martin and Bill Boydstun.
